In: Mansoura University Journal of Agricultural Sciences 2003.v.28(3)Summary: Two fieid experiments were carried out during summer and nili seasons of 1999 and 2000 to achieve a study on ear characters, total yield and its components and storability of baby ears obtained from three corn cultivars ,i.e., field corn, sweet corn and true baby corn. Results revealed that field corn cultivar had the best ear characters, followed by baby corn cultivar, and then sweet corn at last. Suitable harvest date to produce baby ears found to be at silking for both field corn and sweet corn, and one and two days after silking for true baby corn .
