The least square means ± SE obtained from analysis with unequal subclass numbers were 2,39 ± 0.03, 2.50 ± 0.03 for BW and were 10.57 ± 0,17, 13,12 ± 0.19 kg for WW of Baladi and Anglo-Nubian kids, respectively. Season of kidding had highly significant effect on BW of kids of both breeds and on WW of Anglo-Nubian kids but only significant effect on WW of Baladi kids, Vear of kidding had highly significant elfect on BW and WW of Baladi kids but had significant elfect on those of Anglo-Nubian kids. The effects of sex and type of kidding on BW and WW of both breeds were highly significant Parity had highly significant effect on BW of both breeds and on WW ofAnglo-Nubian, but had nonsignificant effect on WW of baladi kids, The variance components estimated from sire-dam mixed models were utilized to calculate heritability estimates of 0.38 and 0.46, and 0.42, and 0.08 for BW and WW of Baladi and Anglo-Nubian kids, respectively, The breeding values for BW and WW of Baladi bucks ranged between - 0,24 and 0.17 kg and between -1.30 and 1.36 kg, respectively.
