Food and Drug Administration (FDA) protocol was used for recovery of Listeria. The Listeria spp. could be detected in 2(4%),2(4%) and 1(2%) of the examined samples respectively, while L. monocytogenes were identified in 2% of both raw goat's and sheep milk. The serotyping ofL. monocytogenes strains revealed that the isolates were of serotype 1. L. innocua was detected in 2% of both goat's milk and sheep milk cheese.
