Nodules weight. pods and grains yields were recorded. The data obtained were statistically analyzed. The results indicated that soil pH was almost unchanged for the untreated plots while slightly increased from 4.3 to 4.9 and 5.1 for lime with and without manure respectivety. Key words: Common bean, inoculation, lime. manure. nodulation. Rhizobium leguminosaum bv phaseoli.
