Subject(s): Online resources: In: Annals of agricultural science, Moshtohor 2005.v.43(2)Summary: Three cultivars of broccoli (Atlantic, Monotop and Atlantic hybrid) were grown in a sandy soil during the 2003/2004 and 2004/2005 winter seasons under live minerals fertilizer treatments, i.e. (zero), 1/1/1 (30 unit of N,P or K), 2/1/1, 1/2/1 and 1/1/2 to study their effect on growth, yield and head quality. Obtained results show that increasing any of N,P or K ratio in the compound fertilizer improved vegetative growth expressed as plant height and number of leaves per plant as well as total yield and head quality. The highest values of total yield were obtained by c.v. Monotop fertilized with 1:2:1 NPK treatment.
