In 2003, 2004 seasons. Amaar apricot fruits were picked at maturity stage and subjected to six treatments; dipping in CaC1₂, potassium permanganate solutions at 1%, potassium permanganate bags placed inside the boxes and dipping the fruits in hot water at 40°C & 45°C for three minutes, beside the untreated fruits considered as control.
