For Giza 6 onion the results showed that the highest value of peeling capacity was140.61 Kg/h at open flat belt speed of 30 rpm and large onion size, while the lowest value of total cost was 40.14 L.E/Mg at the same operating conditions, Also; the highest value of peeling efficiency was 91.20% at open flat belt speed of 15 rpm and medium onion size.
