Subject(s): Online resources: In: Mansoura University Journal of Agricultural Sciences 2009.v.34 (5)Part ASummary: In an attempt to construct superior Trichoderma hanianum isolates for improvement β-glucosidase productivity, induction of mutants and protoplast fusion techniaues were aoolied. After aoolication of UV irradiation and Ethyl methane sulfonate ( EMS). 461 isolates were bbtainw. out of them 99 after UV application and 362 isolates afler EMS treatments. These isolates were tested for the r CMCase and β-glucosidase productivities in comparison with the original strain. Five isolates (tow after UV application and three after EMS treatments) were selected on the basis of their highly productivity of both enzymes to be treated with colchicine (0.1% and 0.2%) as a second steo of mutation induction.
