In: Assiut Veterinary Medical Journal 2010.v.56(127)Summary: This work presents an investigation of the S.aureus of poultry meat sold on the manual processing shops located in Assiute Governorate. Bacteriological analysis was performed on 80 samples of fresh poultry meat for the presence of S.aureus, the isolated percent of the organisms was 47.5, while coagulase positive S.aureus was detected in 27.5% of the tested samples.
