The potency of three natural compounds namely (Biovar, Bio-Ranza and Super Mesrona oil) compared with OP, Sumithion against the nymphs, non-gravid and gravid females of the bamboo pit scale, Bambusaspis bambusae (Boisduval) was carried out using direct exposure technique. The obtained data indicated that the bamboo pit scale, Bambusaspis bambusae (under laboratory conditions) showed less susceptibility to the tested compounds as compared with the seychellarum mealybug, Icerya seychellarum.
