Out of 2500 Salmonella serovars known at present only 10 to 15 serovars are of epidemic importance, primary S.typhimurium and S.enteritidis. In this study, the bacteriological examination of 90,80 and 100 apparently healthy cattle, sheep and goats revealed that 5,3 and 2 isolates of Salmonlla were recovered with percentage 5.6%, 3.75% and 2% respectively. Bacteriological examination of 150, 140 and 210 diarrhoeic cattle, sheep and goats revealed that 22,13 and 16 isolates of Salmonlla were recovered with percentage 14.7%,9.2% and 7.6% respecti vely.
