A total of 675 imported frozen seafood samples (Whole shrimp, peeled shrimp, Whole fish, fish fillets, sepia, calamari, crab, lobster) imported from different origins; were collected on arrival to Sokhna Port, Suez city- Egypt, where it tested for the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The incidence of contamination by Listeria monocytogenes were found to be (1.2%), (4.44%), (2.0%), (6.67%), in whole shrimp, peeled shrimp, whole fish, and fish fillets, respectively.
