During 2002, 2003 and 2004 seasons, 20-year-old Amry date palms grown in sandy soil at Kassasin Hort. Res. Station were fertilized with N, P and K fertilizers at different rates and their combinations. Nitrogen and K20 were added at 400, 800 and 1200 g/palm weekly (early March till July 15) and fortnightly (March, April and July) intervals for N and K, respectively through fertigation systcm. Phosphorus was soil applied at 0, 400 and 800 g P20s/palm in one dose in Dec. of each season in combination with 20 kg cattle manure/palm.
