Two groups of mice were administered with diazinon in the dose of 1/5 LD₅₀ for 5 and 15 days respectively. IL-2, IL- 4, IL-10 and IFN-γ levels were determined. The levels of cytokines in the intoxicated mice were determined day 5 and day 15 post- inoculation.IL-2 and IL-4 were not detected in all samples of intoxicated mice. However, IL-10 and IFN-γ were significantly decreased in both groups of mice intoxicated with diazinon. The significant reduction of IL-10 and IFN-γ was discussed.
