Two field experiments were conducted at Ismailia Agricultural Research Station through seasons of 2007& 2008 to study the influence of phosphorus fertilization as superphosphate at the rat of 0, 15, 30 and 45 kg PZ05 /fed and their combination with phosphate dissolving bacteria (Bacillus megatherium var. phosphaticum); PDB on peanut yield, yield components and some biochemical components. Obtained results revealed that: 1. Application of mineral phosphate at 30kg P₂O₅/ fed. increased the seed index,, pods yield, seed yield, and shilling percentage and also protein, oil and macronutrient (NPK) content over untreated plants. 2. Treatments showed an increment under PDB inoculation comparing with untreated ones. 3. Interaction between mineral phosphate and bio-phosphatic fertilization had a positive effect for most of the studied characters and revealed that application of 30kg P₂O₅/fed. combined with phosphate dissolving bacteria gave the best results.
