Subject(s): Online resources: In: Mansoura Unviersity Journal of Agricultural Sciences 2006.v.31(8)Summary: Parents (P₁l&P₂). F₁,F₂ BC₁l and BC₂ of three bread wheat (Triticum aestivum, L.) crosses IRENA / PBW343. IRENA / GEMMEIZA 9 and Gemmeiza 9/ SIOS 7 were grown during the three successive seasons, 2003/2004, 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 at the experimental farm of EI-Gemmeiza Agric. Res Station, ARC, Egypt. The nonallelic interaction, scaling tests (A,B,C and D) coupled with six types of gene action were estimated in addition to determining the adequacy of genetic model controlling the genetic system of the inheritance of some economic traits. Heading date, maturity date, plant height, number of spikes/plant, number of kernels/spike, 100 kernel weight and grain yield/plant were studied.
