During 2001-2002 seasons, integrated control management of watermelon damping-off include soil types (sandy, salty and clayey), solarization of soils was done using plastic film for 45 and 60 days during highest temp., seed treatment with abiotic agents' and biocides (3ABA, Bion, Chitosan, Cobalt nitrate, Hydroquinone, Plant guard, Seed guard and Rhizo N), fertilizers of different levels of nitrogen, phosphate and potassium as well as different levels of organic manure, irrigation systems (drip irrigation and furrow irrigation) and varietial reaction at farm of EI-Kassassin Horticulture Research Station.
