Comparative bioassays of the nuclopolyhedroviruses of Bombyx mod (BmNPV), Spodoptera littoralis (SpliNPVK), Pectinophora gosypielJa (PgNPY), S. littaraUs (SpllNPVT ) and Autographa californica (AcMNPV) against newly moulted 2nd instar larvae of Spodoptera littoralis were conducted. The results of field survey revealed that the highest virus incidence rate was in KhorshidAlexandria (19.1 %) whereas the lowest was in Tanta-Gharbyia (5.84%).
