Response of cabbage plants to different rates of chicken manure (00, 10 and 20 m3/fed.), levels of mineral N (00, 60 and 120 kg N/fed. as ammonium nitrate) and humic acid foliar treatments (0, 1 and 2 g/l) as well as their interactions was studied at the Experimental Station Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University during two growing seasons of 2007/2008 and 2008/2009. The obtained results indicated that application of 20 m3/fed. of chicken manure showed more superior effect on vegetative growth characters (plant weight, non wrapper leaves weight and number, as well as total head yield and its component (net head weight, head length and diameter), and N content of inner edible leaves.
