An experiment was conducted to evaluate the best level of distillers dried grains with Soluble (DDGS) to be included in broiler diets as a protein source. Chemical composition and nutritional value of (DDGS) were verified. One thousand eight hundred and forty eight one day old Cobb broilers were used. Chicks were distributed among four dietary treatments (control and three treatments). Experimental diets contained 3 levels of DOGS. each dietary treatment was divided into 3 replicates each replicate contained 154 chicks which were housed in broiler cages. The diets were formulated to he iso-caloric and iso-nitrogenous and covering the chick requirements as recommended by the management guide data (Cobb). The effects of different inclusion rates of DDGS% on growth performance. carcass characteristics and physiological were evaluated. There were no significant diffences in hody weight. weight gain and feed intake between chicks fed the control diet and those fed diets containing 2.5 and 5% DDGS at starter stage. Also no significant diffrences were found in body weight.
