The objective of this study was to estimate the effect of different stocking densities of Mugil cephalus and Mugi/ capito with initial weight of I8.0±2.0g and I5.0±2.0g, respectively in polyculture system, at 'two different total stocking densities (14000 and12000) and monoculture system [1000 oftilapia fish (1O.0±2.0g)] on growth performance, survival rate, total production of pond and carcass composition. Nine fertilized earthen ponds (5 Fed /pond, with 1.6 m water depth) and 25% crude protein as diet were used. Fish were fed twice daily (early morning and made.aicnuton) at a rate of 4% of body weight per day. The physico- chemical parameters of water in ponds were reoorded _ water exchange occurred daily at 10:15% of water size. Different growth measurements were recorded every I5-day intervals during the experimental period (I50 days).
