In: Beni-Suef Veterinary Medical Journal 2008.v.18(2)Summary: Out of 50 Biomphalaria alexandrina snails 25 (50%) were found infected with Fasciola spp. This snail species is the suitable intermediate host of Schistosoma mansoni . It is worthy to mention that this is the first record of Fasciola in Libya which represent a new locality record.
