In addition, trying to counteract the adverse effect of seawater salinity by foliar application of exogenous proline (0.5 and 1%). The results showed that low levels of diluted seawater improved the growth, aliio proline treatments have significant effect on growth. The treatment of 30% seawater increased N, P and Fe contents in aerial parts when compared with low and high seawater levels, but 10% seawater treatment increased K level.
