In: Minufiya Journal of Agricultural Research 2012. v.37(1)Summary: This study was conducted at the Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, at Shalakan, Kalubia Governorate, Egypt during the period of 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 seasons, to study mean performance and some genetic parameters of grain yield and some other agronomic traits, i. e. days to heading, plant height, spike length, number of spikes/ plant, number of spikelets/ spike, number of kernels/ spike and 1000-kernel weight in sixty promising lines and seven check cultivars of bread wheat.
