In: Annals of Agricultural Science 2003.v.48(1)Summary: Existence and organ distribution of some pesticide residues and heavy metals in muscle and visceral samples of Karmout fish, Clarias lazara collected from different markets locates at Kalubia governorate, Egypt were investigated during the period of April, 1999 to March 2000. Data indicate the detection of different amount of pesticide residues and heavy metals in fish samples according to the sampling site and season. Fish samples from El-Esmailia and El-Sharkawia markets were found contained the lowest levels of pesticide residues within the 1st five months.
