This study was carried out to investigate clinical, epidemiological and histopathological findings associated with gastrointestinal nematodes infection in sheep with special reference to Haemonchus contortus infection during the period from January, 2008 to June, 2010 at Gharbia Governorate, Egypt. The prevalence of gastrointestinal nematode among examined sheep was 62.38%. Trichostrongylus spp. was the most detected nematode. The highest prevalence was reported in females, during spring and in the age group over 2 years.
