Effect of four sowing dates ( 15 October, 1 November , 15 November and 1 December ) on icidence of such diseases and characters of plant growth, yield and oil percentage in the two previous growing seasons under field conditions were also investigated . All tested microelements showed a toxic effect on growth of the tested fungus in vitro at all tested concentrations , except Ni at concentration of 25 p.p.m. it enhanced the fungal growth . Cobalt was the most effective one , whereas Ni was the least one in this respect . All tested microelements decreased the percentage of infected plants Cobalt, B and Cu were the most effecive microelements s in reducing percentage of infected plants , followed by Zn and Ni . Cobalt was superior in reducing the disease incidence.
