Layer diets wen: supplemented with microbial phytase enzyme at levels of 200, 500, and 800 FTU/kg diet as compared with negative and positive control. The experiment lasted 3 months. Perfonnance parameters, feed conversion ratio and egg quality traits were detennined. Results indicated that feed conversion was significantly (P<0.05) improved, while feed intake decreased when microbial phytase levels increased.
