In: Mansoura Veterinary Medical Journal 2011.v.13(1)Summary: The present study was carried out to evaluate the effect of cefotaxime (10 mg /kg b. w) and marbofloxacin (10 mg /kg b. w) separately and in combination on experimentally infected chickens(200 chickins) with E.coli (O78) and their effect on the hematological findings andliver and kidney functions. The obtained data revealed a significant increase in total erythrocytic count, PCV% and Hb concentration in non infected treated group versus to the infected non treated and infected treated groups after three successive days of treatment.
