Two field experiments were carried out at Abo-Swilam El-ayyat Giza Governorate, Egypt in 2010 and 2011 seasons to study the effect of combinations of four rates from each of farmyard manure (FYM) (5, 10, 15 and 20m3/fad.), nitrogen (30, 60, 90 and 120 kg/fad.), nitrobein (400g/fad.), phosphorein (400g/fad.) and phosphoric acid at 2%. Results showed that, there were significant differences between the fertilization treatments for ear weight, grain yield/plant, 100-grain weight, grain yield/fad., P content and protein percentage of grain maize in 2010 and 2011 seasons. The highest values for all studied traits were produced by application of 120 kg N/fad.+ nitrobein and phosphorein followed by 120 kg. N/fad. with nitrobein and phosphoric acid. and 120 kg. N/fad. with nitrobein without significant differences between them in both growing seasons.
