In: Journal of Agricultural Research Kafrelsheikh Univeristy 2010.v.36(4)Summary: The resistance evolution of Echinochloa co/anum to bispyribacsoduim was monitored during 2005, 2006 and 2007 seasons under greenhouse conditions. Moreover, the resistance mechanism of this weed to bispyribac-soduim was investigated by determining the activity of ALSase and the determination of seeds and leaves protein in both susceptible and resistant biotypes of E.colonum. The results revealed that the E colonum exhibit resistance to bispyribac-soduim after three seasons of selection pressure.
